Cape Coop, and how we got there!

This weblog will share the story of Cape Coop, our tiny house in the country, how we got here and the history of our little 'chicken house', along with our history, all enmeshed in a rambling, somewhat colorful and unbelievable, yet true story.
PS: There will be run on sentences. And exclamation marks!

  3. I know you'll find it far-fetched, and quite an odd thing to say (even odder than my usual drivelings) but I've SEEN you in a house. I've seen you walking out with first-cup and being upstairs and looking down upon your own chair on the lawn. Shade and grass and a whole new start---lovely.

I've prayed for that for you. And there it is--thus my excited utterance in the first post. I know I expected it to happen, but this was just so unexpected!!! And it's a HOUSE, as children draw one, and thus my ideal of a home---a pointed something, whether entrance or roof or portico, and the shape is perfect. Ours is rather flat, and not so attractive, not to me of the cottage-bungalow persuasion, but I've made it one inside.

What a lovely thing to know. And you'll fill the rooms with the scents of spices. How homey, and how full.

  7. It looks like Little Bear's house. I read The Little Bear books by Maurice Sendak when I was a kid. It's the very same house, I swear! I want to come w/ Cat, Duck and Emily for your birthday, we'll have birthday soup!
