  1. That's really a fishing reel!

Rebecca thanks for the comment on my blog about my mother. Today I found out they said there is nothing more they can do for her. I am in shock, even though I knew it was coming. The family will get with the doctors and discuss how to proceed. I am scared about how I will feel and how much I will miss her. I try to comfort myself by reminding myself how lucky I am because I am almost 50. And then there are people like you who lost your mother so young as a teen, and your daughter who might lose you. I know, you're right, it is terrible whenever it happens but when you think about losing your parents, you picture old people.

How are you doing? I am so impressed by you. Jenise told me how you go to the city for treatments, etc. And your attitude... Where does it come from?

    Your friend,
    Debi

  2. It DOES look like a fishing reel, we want fishing reels; maybe we should have kept it!
Debi, I'm so sorry that you are all suffering right now. I wish that we could all live forever(transhumanism for me!), together, and perhaps in the ten dimensions we do, but we only live in these three dimensions, and loss is a part of this existence. PLEASE do whatever stupid FOOLISH and FOOLHARDY things that you must to be with your mom NOW and for as much time as you are able- once she is gone, there will be no more memories to make, and I know that you will appreciate having a store of good last memories to hold in your heart.
Write to me privately, anytime- we can speak on the telephone, too. I'm really here for you, and I'll help you in any way that I can.
    Rebecca

  4. Someone bought this and got a very good price, too! La Principessa sent a sheaf of my recipes along with it.
